Follow the instructions in the correct order as shown.
1.
Place NUVTON® XT device and cable on the desk.
2.
Position and plug the power cable into the socket on the device, as shown in the photo. Note: There is only one possible position to connect the cable to the socket.

Screw the ring on the plug to the socket on the device tightly. Note: Make sure you screw the right ring as shown on the photo. The ring should be screwed straight and not under an angle.
4.
Power cable is now safely attached to the NUVTON® XT device.
5.
Place NUVTON® XT on the NUVTON® XT Pad.
6.
Plug cable into an electrical socket.

Red indicator light on the handle shows that NUVTON® XT is connected to electricity and is ready to be switched on.

First put the visor on your forehead and adjust it with hedgehog tape.

Put on dry gloves and press the button on the handle.

Indicator light on the handle starts to blink green. This indicates that UV-C light is ramping up towards full UV-C disinfection power (from 2 up to several seconds, in some specific conditions up to 60 seconds). Blue light at the edge of the pad will illuminate and indicate that the UV-C light is being emitted. Wait until green blinking light turns to permanent green.

Indicator light on the handle turns to permanent green. NUVTON® XT is ready and YOU CAN START WITH DISINFECTION.
When you have finished with disinfection, place NUVTON® XT on the NUVTON® XT Pad and press the button on the handle to turn off the device (red light indication). Allow device to cool down before storing it.
NOTE: Always make sure to unplug the cable from the electrical outlet BEFORE removing cable from the connector socket on NUVTON® XT!
DURING DISINFECTION PROCESS
If you are sterilizing different objects/surfaces in a short period of time, you can put NUVTON® XT on the pad (for 1 minute) without having to turn off the device.
If you need more time between sterilization of different objects / surfaces, put NUVTON® XT on the pad and switch off the device.
Never leave the NUVTON® XT sterilizer on the NUVTON® XT Pad switched on for morethan 1 minute!

GREEN BLINKING LIGHT
UV-C light is ramping up towards full UV-C disinfection power.
PERMANENT GREEN LIGHT
NUVTON® XT is ready for full operation, the UV-C light power reached the nominal power for the disinfection process.
