Troubleshooting

Here you can find a list of all up-to-date troubleshooting issues with explanation of cause and solution.

CAUSE

• No electricity
• Cable not plugged in correctly
• Malfunction of the electronic

SOLUTION

Please check if you have electricity and that everything is plugged in correctly.

If the LED indicator still does not turn on, contact NUVTON® support or your seller.

CAUSE

There is a problem with electronics or some other internal problem.
It should be diagnosed by the GRAH UVTECH repair and diagnostic team.

SOLUTION

Please contact NUVTON® support or your seller.

CAUSE

Lamp should be replaced.

SOLUTION

Please replace the lamp according to instructions – PAGE 39 of the user manual.

CAUSE

Ambient temperature too high combined with the total time of device usage.

SOLUTION

This does not harm the UV-C lamp, however the UV-C output is lower consequentially. Therefore, you should rely on the indicator light on the handle. If it is blinking green, then the UV-C output is too low; if it is permanent green, then the optimal UV-C output is reached.

CAUSE

Inappropriate handling of the device.

SOLUTION

Unplug device from the power immediately. Clean the device, then replace the lamp as shown in the lamp replacement section. Caution! Lamp contains poisonous mercury. Broken parts should be handled according to: https://www.epa.gov/cfl/cleaning-broken-cfl

CAUSE

CAUSE

• Old lamp installed
• Maximum lifetime of lamp reached

SOLUTION

• Replace the UV-C lamp
• If the issue doesn’t go away by replacing the lamp, please contact NUVTON® support or your seller

CAUSE

• Device overheating

SOLUTION

• Switch off the device and wait for the lamp to cool down.
